Institutes for Sale

A brokered process, with clear steps.

CEE brokers every deal between the buyer and the seller. Listings are verified before publication; buyers are screened before an introduction.

CEE does not deal with the property the school operates from. Listings cover the institute or its equipment only.

The process

From private review to an introduction.

  1. Submit your school business or equipment listing, photos and verification documents.
  2. CEE reviews the documents and may ask for more information. Nothing is public at this stage.
  3. Staff verify the submission and approve its public listing details and images before publication. Seller identity and documents stay private.
  4. A buyer sends an enquiry. CEE screens the buyer and discusses the opportunity.
  5. Authorised staff introduce the buyer and seller and record the introduction. Contact details are shared only through that staff action.

What can be listed

A whole school, college or training institute as a running business, or its equipment only.

The property it operates from is never part of a listing.

Brokerage fee

The buyer pays 2.5% and the seller pays 2.5% of the agreed sale price: 5% in total, payable on completion.

On a 30 lac sale, each party pays 75 thousand.

Documents required

  • Owner’s CNIC
  • School registration or affiliation
  • Proof of ownership or lease of the business (not the property)
  • Financials and enrolment information

Before you proceed

Verification documents are private and seen only by authorised CEE staff. They are never published and are deleted on schedule after review.

CEE verifies what sellers submit and screens buyers, but every buyer should still carry out their own due diligence and take independent legal and financial advice before signing anything. The sale agreement is between buyer and seller; CEE’s role is to verify, screen and introduce.

Fees, taxes and the timing of payment are confirmed in writing with both parties before an introduction is made.
